Try These Protein Pancakes Anytime Of The Day

Try this protein pancake recipe.  Make a batch and refrigerate or freeze.

Tasty Protein Pancakes

1.5/2 cups quick cooking oats
1.5/2 scoops vanilla protein powder
2 tbsp ground flax
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp baking powder
5/6 large eggs, whites only
1 large whole egg
1/2 cup low-fat cottage cheese
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup coconut or almond milk (i use vanilla coconut milk)
1 tsp vanilla

Using a food processor most any will work for this mix, combine dry ingredients to make the oat flour.

Combine coconut or almond milk ingredients in a blender.

Add all the dry ingredients with your coconut or almond milk ingredients and mix with blender.

Allow the mixture to sit for at least 15 minutes before cooking on a skillet pre-heated over med heat and sprayed with non-stick spray.

Use 1/3 cup of batter for each pancake you make! Enjoy :)
